If you have recently had a baby, you will know that everything changes. Your body may not be the body that you knew before and your priorities are different. It is easy to put aside your needs at this time, however, this is the time when you need to nurture yourself, heal and rebuild strength and confidence.
This weekly postnatal class has been designed for your needs as a new mother. Each week the class will focus on:
Strengthening the pelvic floor and long term pelvic health
Strengthening weakened & stretched abdominal muscles
Releasing tension & building strength in the body
Providing an opportunity to revitalise, rejuvenate and relax
Empowering you to make a safe transition back to general yoga or other forms of exercise
It is important to rest initially after the birth of your baby, however these classes are suitable for:
Newer mums i.e. Anyone from 6 weeks after birth, (after postnatal check up), or from 12 weeks if you have had a caesarean, (or after the all clear from the doctor)
Nearly new mums i.e. Any mum who has had a baby, who have yet to return to exercise and want to use these classes as a stepping stone back to health
Understandably, it is difficult as a new mum to commit to a weekly class. With this in mind, payment for these classes is via a 'class pass'. You do not have to attend consecutive classes, (although it would be more beneficial to do so), and there is no expiry date on the card, offering you the flexibility that you need without losing out financially.
